Jinlong Electric was established in 1985, with 68,000 m² production facility located in Yuyao, Zhejiang — known as "the hometown of China's mold industry." Our dedicated tool room spans 5,000 m² within the facility, equipped with over 20 sets of high-performance CNC machining centers, Charmilles EDM machines, and precision wire-cut equipment.
We operate a vertically integrated manufacturing operation with over 150 injection molding machines (45T–1,600T), including 2 cleanroom-configured production areas, and 8 dedicated product assembly lines. Our fixed assets exceed USD 20 million, supporting an annual mold production capacity of 1,000 molds per year.

2K Two-Shot Injection Mold for Automotive Functional Component

A European automotive components manufacturer needed a dual-material (2K) injection mold for a soft-touch automotive interior part — rigid ABS substrate with TPE overmold for grip surfaces.
Challenges addressed: Precise alignment between first-shot and second-shot materials, strict flash control at the material interface. Jinlong's team used sequential valve gate control and precision mold heating to achieve a perfect bond without flash.

Our Process — 8 Steps from Design to Delivery

    Step 1: RFQ & Drawing Review

    Share your 2D/3D product drawings and target volumes. We evaluate complexity and provide a detailed quotation within 3 business days.
  • 02

    Step 2: DFM Analysis & Feasibility Study

    Our engineering team conducts a manufacturability review, identifying potential issues and optimization opportunities before production begins.
  • 03

    Step 3: Mold Design & Customer Approval

    Using SolidWorks, Pro/E, UG, or CATIA, we develop detailed mold designs including 2D/3D drawings, mold structure, and cooling layout. Designs are submitted for your approval before machining starts.
  • 04

    Step 4: Mold Manufacturing

    Full in-house machining: CNC, EDM, wire-cut, heat treatment, and surface finishing. Weekly project updates with photos are sent throughout the build phase.
  • 05

    Step 5: Mold Assembly & Pre-shipment Inspection

    Mold is assembled, lubricated, and given a full dimensional inspection before trial.
  • 06

    Step 6: T1 Trial & Sample Approval

    We conduct mold trials in-house using our 150+ injection machines (45T–1600T). Samples are inspected and FAI reports are submitted for your review.
  • 07

    Step 7: Final Acceptance & Delivery

    Once samples are approved in writing, the mold is accepted, packaged, and shipped with complete documentation including material certificates, inspection reports, and assembly drawings.
  • 08

    Step 8: After-sales Support

    Our relationship doesn't end at delivery. We offer mold repair, spare parts, engineering changes, and technical consulting throughout the mold's service life.
