    Technical Process

    Step 1

    Inquiry & Large-Component Drawing Review

Customer submits large-format home appliance component drawings (washing machine drum components, air conditioner housings, etc.). Jinlong reviews design for large-component manufacturability and provides a quotation within 3 business days.

    Step 2

    Structural DFM for Large Components

Jinlong conducts a structural-focused DFM analysis — reviewing thick-section areas for sink mark control, rib design for warpage prevention, large-surface flatness requirements, and cooling channel optimization for large mold sizes.

    Step 3

    Large-Format Mold Design

Mold designs developed for large-component production using SolidWorks, Pro/ENGINEER, UG, or CATIA. Special attention to cooling channel layout for uniform heat dissipation across large cavities, ejection system design for large surface areas, and hot runner manifold sizing for proper flow distribution. Designs submitted for approval.

    Step 4

    Large-Capacity Precision Machining

Molds machined using Jinlong's large-format CNC equipment — capable of machining cavity and core blocks up to 3,200 × 1,800 × 1,600mm. High-speed machining for large flat surfaces, EDM for intricate features, and precision grinding for critical sealing and parting surfaces.

    Step 5

    Large-Tonnage Trial & High-Volume Qualification

Mold trials conducted on Jinlong's large-tonnage injection machines (matching component size requirements). Samples evaluated for large-surface flatness, warp control, cosmetic quality on visible surfaces, and dimensional compliance. Trial samples packaged and submitted for customer approval.

    Step 6

    Production Qualification & Delivery

Upon sample approval, mold accepted for mass production qualification. Documentation includes material certificates for large mold steel blocks, cooling manifold specifications, and assembly drawings. Mold shipped with full documentation package.

    Step 7

    Volume Production Support

Long-term support for high-volume production runs, spare large-format components, and engineering modifications for design updates.
